I love this book series but my GOD has the plot gotten more and more gory with the details. Audiobooking it which is fun for the Irish accents but it triggers my rage so much more for what’s happening. Literally yelling in the car while I’m listening to this book I must look like I have severe road rage. Anyways I recommend the series but pls take the trigger warnings seriously bc they are a big part of the plot

Does anyone else ever just pause reading a book when things get bad for character(s)? I like to think I’m preventing their trauma from continuing by not reading and they are frolicking in a happy little meadow during my reading pause. Anyways I won’t be picking up this book for a while because it makes me sad and the characters need a lot of frolicking ):):
