I could put up with the tropes, slut-shaming (it's gotten much worse), hokey dialogue, and overall irritating quippy immaturity in the first book because the worldbuilding was interesting.

This doesn't have that going for it. Just a continuation if the plot with no real meat beside it. This got rough so quickly.
