Still bored

A whole lot of nothing going on. I know they're trying to show these characters slowly warming up to each other, but it's just not working for me.. not the slow burn part. I love slow burn. But this all feels very superficial. It doesn't feel like they're genuinely connecting.

Doing a shit job with this plan so far! Yknow what would help? Literally telling him why you took him, and treating him well. He may believe you, he may not -- but so long as you've got him locked up with no explanation, all you're doing is letting resentment build. (Well, if this weren't a romance.)

Hoping I'm not setting myself up for failure here. Christina Lee has been a miss in the past and I've got no idea about Riley Hart, but I like fairytale retellings... fingers crossed.
