This book isn't on a hurry, and neither am I. I love the structure Rosner chose. Back and forth from the past to the present, the different characters' voices speaking in. It's mostly Julian's story, but the two women have their own interesting stories to tell.

Reread, this time as an audiobook. I read this first years ago in a college English lit class and loved it. I can't even identify what, exactly, I loved about this book. So I'm finally revisiting it to enjoy it again, and maybe I'll be able to find out what it is I cherish.
