The way the looking back section talks about boarding schools is so… it’s like yeah it was hard for them to have their culture and history and entire way of life erased and to have their hair cut and be forced to wear white clothes and to be beaten for speaking their own language. It literally says “some died” when we know at least 1-3000 died in the us alone
