James still pisses me the fuck off.

James keeps bitching about Kat to herself and everyone who'd listen and is mad that she "makes things about herself all the time", but then she refuses to update her about her own life? Is Kat supposed to read her mind and just miraculously know what's going on??
All I'm seeing is a girl loathing her best friend for absolutely no reason, and I'm, what? Supposed to be on her side?

The way the chapters start talking about drama that already happened but you have no idea what it is is getting grating.
Also, love the sapphics, but why did that happen so quickly? Kat got kissed, realised she liked girls, and started dating one in the span of like a day. They also have like zero chemistry because you've barely seen them interact with each other except for like a scene or two.

The disjointed timeline does not work at all; you're supposed to believe the friendship ended because of something Kat did, but you don't know what that something is, so James just looks like the biggest asshole and worst best friend in the world right now and I want to send her into space.

Decided to read this as my next library ebook. It doesn't have very good reviews, so my expectations are pretty much nonexistent.
