The ending of the last book was interesting enough for me to start this one, but I don't like the fmc. She's already fighting this guy who is suppose to help her. And she knows him from childhood and instead of, idk, SAYING that we are just going to be secretive until we fight later and it comes out before the climax and then we will have a healing moment. Idk it's not that bad, but cookie cutter trope town.
