I am just over half way through and I don’t want to stop reading.
We are finding out about how Alex is coping with being an IS (indentured servant) and it is not a pleasant experience so far. In fact he’s in a very dark place, will he be broken by it?
Josiah is growing on me, will he ever let go of the past and finally grieve for his dead husband.
Will the two of them trust each other?
So many questions.
