The Abolition of Man is a prediction from 1943 that if we teach our children that all values are subjective then we will never think it's worth it to give our lives up for anything and life will become hollow. I'm barely hanging on here, intellectually. I'd like to discuss this with someone.

I haven't read it yet, but I hear Michael Ward's After Humanity is a good guide to Abolition of Man.
