Finally finished it the day before it is due after three renewals. Definitely worth getting it done.

Apparently 3 is the maximum renewals allowed by my public library so now I'm trying to finish this before Saturday (its due date). I'm not exactly sure the story is actually picking up in pace after page 100, but the story certainly is continuing on... even if it's trending on a darker (but more believable) track.

Ugh oh, now I'm on the third renewal. It never bodes well for actually finishing the book once I hit the third renewal. LOL

You may not agree, but I found it delightfully ironic that I took this physical book on a 1,400+ mile roadtrip. I didn't read a single page on that trip, but I shall try to finish nonetheless.
