The way this is perpetuating rape infuriates me.

This might be the most unreasonably fucked up book I've ever read and I've read a lot of fucked up shit.

This just got really fucked up for no reason.

Little paragraph of bullshit doesn't count as world-building.

These characters and the plot are awful. Nothing makes sense and not in a good way.

This book makes zero sense.

"The attractive blue eyed man with milk chocolate skin." Repeat after me: We

"He had blue eyes with an African-American background." I'm sorry, THE FUCK?! That's not how you describe people!!

I really really really have a problem with how the author is approaching this black male main character. I appreciate her attempt at representation, but portraying him as exotic and "different than other African American" guys hurts more than it helps.
