"Turns out, panic I'd rather exhausting, and I fell asleep without meaning to, my head tipped back against the railing of the boat, before anyone has come out."
I'm having plenty of fun on the trio's adventures and escapades, but some of the word choices, like the grammar here, throws me off. I fall asleep before anyone "has come" out? "Comes out."

"They can hardly be blamed. I'd fall in love with me, if I met me." And then I flash him a smile that is equal parts rapscallion and boyish dimples so deep you could pour tea into them."
First off - this starts off so fun! Just a couple of hungover delinquents falling out of bed, stumbling about, cheerfully insulting each other. Immediate tone established.
But oof, that awkward first person narrative description.
