I feel like the author’s characterization of Emma and her father is pretty interesting. The way Mr Woodhouse is unable to understand others and believes they must feel and think what he feels and thinks. The way Emma “philanthropically” decides to get involved in Harriet’s life and immediately tries to change its trajectory for what she’s convinced is the best. I’m eating it up.
