I must be doomed for a part of me to root for the mysterious one every time…

Some of the scenes with her family don’t feel realistic for some reason, but to be fair a lot is happening so emotions are always quite high!

Also: story going exactly in the direction I anticipated when a certain plot point was revealed (Deja vu)

“Part 2: Empires rise, Empires fall”

In dire need to know what happens next, and just had the realization that since this first book isn’t officially out yet, the next one isn’t close to being out yet either !!! Eep

I am lovinggg the start of this; I am typically wary of books that (*when I judge a book based on it’s cover, no proof of this at the moment) may include a love triangle* but the beginning of this story feels so rich and details an interesting magic system so I’m excited to see where this goes now that the story is truly starting after the initial introductions
