I feel like the author gave away how the hex was broken and since the reader knows what happens, it’s not going to be a big reveal.

The FMC is supposed to be 30 but acts like she is in her late teens/early 20s. I’m bored even at 1.4x speed on the audiobook. Very close to DNF territory.
