bro it's so good, i'm not sure how far you got into it but each chapter has such a strong narrative voice, the different perspectives on the same event r outstanding but it's like a thousand different heartbreaks in one book.

there's this line "i felt the blood of a hundred thousand hearts surging together into one enormous artery, fresh and clean ... the sublime enormity of a single heart, pulsing blood through that vessel and into my own.

that sublime feeling that i'd been tapping into, that enormous heart i'd felt briefly part of, was smashed to pieces, strewn over the ground as so much rubbish"

that's pretty much how it feels... i hope u pick it up again !! when ur not busy being a #real cinephile

Im going to have to look at my incredibly busy schedule of bedrotting, movies and games to see when i can read this book 🤓👆👆

Nah but for real, i think ive read the first 40ish pages and remember being hooked. Like holy crap man, the early pages are so visceral!! I remember there was this incredibly disturbing description of a rotting corpse of a woman that the protagonist had to try and identify, chills man.
