I'm as far in as the Amazon Kindle preview allows me. So far: right down my alley - detailed historical context written in a marvellously engaging way, to preface the shipwreck is exactly what I was looking for. Eagerly awaiting the paper book's arrival to arrive to continue. Just can't make friends with the idea of getting an E-Reader, even if it makes content available stat.
