Literally just started this book and the first thing she talks about is how women who are dealing with cancer still apologize for things like sweating excessively or their mastectomy scars to her as a doctor and it made me think about how my grandma who has pretty severe dementia was eating her lunch and she goes “I need to not eat so much so I can lose weight”
