Okay, it’s getting good. Really good!

The intro to this book is so overwhelming. You don’t get eased into the world, there’s just a massive info dump with world building and two main characters introduced in separate parts of a complex city, with a even more intricate caste system. Lord have mercy, why did the editor not tell the author to flesh is out or remove a character for later? Shit.
