of the two paragraphs she spends on 'the price of salt', stryker basically misrepresents the plot and characters completely - yes it is an "upbeat ending" as stryker says, but there's much more angst and social rejection and so much more to it than a country retreat.idk it just irks me bc this is the only book she mentions that i've actually read, and she even gets therese's occupation wrong. where is the research??
