Somewhere around page 50 of book 25 Reki decides to once again explain how the plot device that is the game interface works, again..
I’m tired of it, mostly because it comes up every three or four chapters, and takes me right out of the world he has created and story that is being told.
It’s akin to every fifth time someone uses a transporter in Star Trek being told about its safety record.

Its true, someone might have never read a previous book and start here and things need to be explained a little, just not smack dab in the middle of plot development, or in place of character growth..
which is a whole other thing I could go on about, or the lack/regression of it in some places..
I admit that I’m reading a translation and so some things don’t translate well, also our Author is jumping around within the story between writing the new story and then all the progressive fill in the time of the pervious arcs tales. I do enjoy them, but what it does is make for inconsistent characters.
That said, I really enjoy the concept and story being told.
