oh im enjoing it. it is beautifully sad.
i think you'll like it.
here's two tankas that i liked :

"Were they bitter or
were they somehow sweet, the tears
that youthful priest shed
there on the street when he
first looked at me?

The little lamb's eyes,
desperate for forest water,
must resemble mine.
O you whose love i long for,
how can you understand me?"
