Not only did I read this very well written book, but I sent it to a young friend of mine struggling with alcoholism. This book so poignantly captured the denial and the rationalization of an alcoholic set in the beautiful Pureta Rican Island. This story shines a light on women in the military and the aftereffects of serving while at war resulting in ptsd. I highly recommend this book.
