OK, excuse me while I vomit. It is one thing for a character to think his stepmother is pretty. It is a whole different thing for both of them to have some sort of relationship that is more than stepchild and stepmother. Too incestuous for me… hoping there isn’t more to it than this for obvious reasons.

I prefer much shorter chapters. 20+ minute chapters means I cannot read as easily on the subway, which is when most of my reading happens.
Otherwise, I am enjoying this book. I don’t like that sometimes the character perspective changes to a different character in the middle of the chapter. It’s a bit jarring.
