Wasn’t really loving the first 100 pages or so of this. It kind of felt a little “how do you do fellow kids”. Then I got to the first major horror set piece and now I am LOCKED in. If I didn’t have to get up early tomorrow I’d be finishing this tonight. Hoping it can carry this momentum through to the end and continue being a fun slasher novel.

You're a stronger man than me. I usually don't even get to the 100 mark if I'm not enjoying a book.

I think the full series is very enjoyable if you go in expecting it to be a bit goofy and campy in nature.
