Curing my 6 month long reading slump this book is so beautiful (also wHAT IS THE SPRING WATERS????)

Immediately hooked, why and how on earth does someone even come up with SUCH creative and unexpected and eerie worlds? Already I'm back in a Tim Burton film, and I am ready for a cup of tea. What else did I expect from one of the current monarchs of gothic fantasy? I might be saying this prematurely but Gillig might just be making her way into my fave authors
