1) weird to not bring up the growing and at times extreme anti semitism in the us, i assume its being segmented and gets its back-reaching chapter later when ww2 breaks out

2) i didnt know boas was a diffusionist! its good to learn that it was more of a progressive alternative to evolutionism before being grouped along it as outdated anthro-theories

missed the chance to talk about the shifting exclusivity of a „white race“, just alkudes to it being wrong because duh, but its not even like they were consistent, it was ruled by politics
