The continuity with the ages does not exist. First, Ruby is 8 when her mom is killed, then she’s 11. And in the opening of the book, Roman is 38. But then he’s 20 when Ruby’s mom was killed 15 years ago. This is driving me crazy because I keep trying to math their ages and the math isn’t mathing.
