I feel like this is a lot of okay sex and very little actual substantive plot. Like the idea is there but the execution is lacking. This may be a DNF.

I feel like this is giving me a little bit of whiplash. Like they’re really back and forth with Ophelia. And it def seems like they’re only with her cuz they get high iff her blood.

Le sigh. Literally so many problems would be solved by not jumping to conclusions and having an open conversation. I’m kinda confused how Ava thinks the Marriage Contract she stumbled upon is a real thing for Tyler…

Honestly, the whole premise of this book is dumb to me. Like it’s literally about grown men fighting each other like a bunch of children. I don’t understand how the women in this find this attractive. The feud is hella dumb.

This feud between grown adults is hella stupid.

For Annika being a single mom, there is a distinct lack of presence of her child. Were a third of the way in and Thomas had made an actual appearance once, and that was the beginning of the book. I also feel like he’s hardly mentioned…this is quite the disappointment .

Aaaaand they’re riding horses? What the heck is happening??

I do not, for single second, buy that this woman does not know what an obstetrician is. Are we serious?????

I literally do not understand this girl. She was totally all about Barrett and being a puck bunny and then all of a sudden she’s heartbroken and can’t stand it. WTF. Where did that come from? Also “Bear”…so cringy.

Tells Rian to call her “Belle” because it’s a nickname her brother hardy ever used, except for in the first interaction we have with them. 🙃

I’m mad I spent money on this. Pretty much lost me at incorrect usage of “omit” instead of “emit”. Layla seems like an awful friend. And Gabriel is just playing at being a tough guy. I do not for one second buy this guy as a 32 year old, former Marine, MC president. Not buying for a second.
