I’d be farther along if the flight hadn’t been so turbulent. I hate flying. Enjoying this pulpy lil treat, though.

I’d definitely classify this as a classic “summer beach read” so far. Just the other side of trashy indulgence, well-paced and appropriately pulpy when it needs to be.

I’m demented enough to want to read the book that was the initial inspiration for Sylvester Stallone’s godawful movie, “Cobra.” Thus far, no resemblance to the movie. So that’s a huge plus right out of the gate!
