The writing isn’t bad so far, but there is an abysmal lack of pirating in this book that is allegedly about a pirate H. If I just wanted to read about two people falling in love on a lavish English estate I wouldn’t have picked up a pirate book lol

I agree! You came for the pirate adventure, the synopsis agreed, so where's the notorious, virile pirate? - false advertisements. Lol. Is there even a boat yet? :(

Is there even a boat yet? :("It hooked me in with the first couple of chapter being on a pirate ship! I flipped through the rest of the story to make sure that they get back to the pirate ship eventually, but I've just never read a pirate romance with so much of the story seems to having nothing to do with pirates lol
