oh my fucking god. what do I even say...I legit sat and stared at the wall after the epilogue. Nobody talk to me for the next 5-7 business days.

I love Haymitch and Maysilee calling each other siblings it's so cute 🥺🥲 I feel so bad for them both

The last few chapters made me wanna cry for Haymitch because his internal dialogue is so heartbreaking :(( I hate how he beats himself up over things that aren't his fault.

I must admit her writing is pretty addicting at this point. But I feel like the start of the games could've been written a lot more immersively and smoothly. At the start, Haymitch's internal dialogue giving more Wyatt energy than Katniss energy if that makes sense lol

without spoiling anything (from THIS book, I hope)... Snow is a fucking weirdo bro that 50+ year old situationship wasn't that serious lmao 😭😭 and absolutely no words for the end of chapter nine and the start of chapter ten...that was... interesting!! very interesting let's just say!!

The amount of references to the other books in the first six chapters alone is crazy...especially "In fifty years, we've only had one Victor, and that was a long time ago. A girl who no one seems to know anything about. (there's more insane stuff in that paragraph but it's too long to type)" SUZANNE COLLINS I KNOW YOU'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT LUCY GRAY. I KNOW YOU'RE NOT.
