finished part ii and am currently reading part iii!

part ii: more injustices but now, simon faces them alone. and just like tano, he experienced them from the same people — he is ever so motivated to fight back.

part iii: so much has changed and i remain hopeful that simon will succeed til the end ;) pls pls pls let them get their happy ending! this election thing just bothers me

regente is bad news

part i shows the early years of simon and the late years of tano prior to the major turning point of their lives. it was not a light read at all. this shows the hardships that tano went through, gried and all but mostly because of his social status. shocking? no. that's the philippines for u! well, as anyone does, he persevered... barely; constantly reminded of the privileges his livelihood fail to provide.
