No page numbers in this edition! So odd. But it’s delightful. Slone’s delight and wonder in the sky, and his refreshing resistance to think in purely empirical and “factual” terms makes this a fun and interesting read.

Also learned that the sky really is closer at the poles, and birds fly higher after the cold dry polar air comes flowing in (warmer air is thinner). This often happens after a northern lights show.
