So far, it’s like every paragraph is a different way of saying the same thing— Mt. Fugi created lava tubes which make the soil porous and the volcanic ash gives it nutrients. I feel like I’ve read about that 50 different ways. The first 3 chapters could have been one combined chapter about a page and a half long.

The writing is good, but it’s repetitive as hell.
