Okay this is my unofficial review. Vis is definitely a Mary Sue character. I hope this changes in the next book. There is still so much of the underlying plot that hasn’t been addressed in this book that it feels a little wild to trust that most of them will be explained in the next book.

BUT THAT ENDING IS LITERALLY INSANE I NEED THE NEXT BOOK

Okay this depictions of violence are gorier than I’m used to but at least things are getting interesting.

Do not recommend only listening to this book. I feel lost
