It didn’t matter that I was personally attached to the story or the real-life people behind the characters now. It didn’t matter that I’d given all I had to give for the scene and couldn’t imagine I’d ever be able to do more. I was the actress. I’d signed a contract and sold my opinions for a paycheck. It was my job to deliver, and I had to do it to their standards.
