Cardan wanted Jude to be make sure he didn’t turn as evil as Dain, to keep him in check. But also, “I want you here by my side, as my queen.” I’m blushing

Is Cardan hurt? Or is it because Jude is Queen that her blood is causing flowers to bloom? This sounds like she had become magic by marrying Cardan and I’m so excited cuz I don’t want her to be mortal anyway and I hope this means something good

idk what ms. black did in between book two and three but this is one of the best books I’ve ever read 😭
