Also Mr Robert Audley is so giving Mr Utterson from Jekyll & Hyde vibes

I mean, if Lady Audley's secret is what I think it is, it isn't exactly very secret is it?! I guessed about 5% of the way in! But I'm still hoping there will be some twists and turns in this tale...surely there must be?!

So far, I'm on the fence with this. It's a female authored 19th century novel and therefore has my heart. The characters & settings are interesting... however I'm still not gripped yet.
