that’s so sad 😭 I don’t yet understand how people are willing to die for a cause bigger than themselves. It’s so heroic and humble and noble in a way that’s almost incomprehensible

Okay don’t hate me but I did in fact skip ahead to a random page in the vain hope that some of my questions would be answered.
I just so happened to pick the page where Vin kills Zane (!!!) & rushes back to Elend, so YAY one less thing to wonder about! Okay I’ll skip back now, whew! What a twist!!! (And what does the Voice MEAN Zane was never insane?? I mean I figured it’s a real voice but whose??)

No that’s crazy though!!! Zane must really really like her to resist the urge to kill her right there. To be honorable with warning her about the koloss, and the refugees. I’m wondering if the Voice has ever told him to kill her?? In this interaction he only mentions Elend

I can’t believe he’s revealing the connection to Elend!!!! He’s down so bad!!! As if telling Vin he’s basically Elend will make her love him too!!!
I just hope when Vin follows the pulsing and becomes a hero my poor man will be free from the Voices

also I am still not over that Zane and Elend are BROTHERSSS because of course they are. why only take the drama of a mistborn assassin to rival Vin’s prowess, when you can add the drama of a secret brother hating Elend for having the pampered life he never could, all while angstily believing (in self preservation) that the pain was worth it for the power he now possesses. Mortal instruments vibes? etc?
