Pet peeve- she never actually apologizes and says sorry to Caleb. She said some really hurtful things to Caleb and jumped to conclusions and I think he deserves more of an apology than she provided.

The underlying hostility Tash has for men was always going to pose a problem for her possibility of a romantic relationship with Caleb. This is yet another reason why it feels these two characters are not right for each other and why I don’t want them to be together.

Tasha’s paragraphs about the need for sexual violence is crazy work. I don’t like how her whole personality both in real like and the book is how she hates men.

“Your audience has waited a long time to get right here.” Trying to parallel the writers story with the book itself, kinda cheesy. And no I haven’t waited a long time to get to this point. Because of the unlikeability of Tash, I wasn’t rooting for them to get together.

Her behavior is feeling immature. He is being professional and trying to set boundaries, which she should appreciate but she’s now holding a grudge against him for it.

And now because he doesn’t understand her undertones and subliminal messaging, she is becoming inappropriately resentful and passive aggressive.

She’s so annoying! For a small period the book was tolerable, but here we go again. Now she’s being so vague and indirect with her feelings. She thinks she’s doing a good job at hinting her feelings about Caleb but it’s not a good job. Why can’t she just tell him? And she didn’t even like him in the beginning! It feels vain. Use your words to tell him exactly how you feel!

Also she’s terrible for being so judgmental about Caleb and saying those mean things about the documentary and jumping to conclusions

Very clunky, unnatural writing. Too descriptive, too many descriptive, almost outdated wording that makes it hard to read cohesively. Tash is infuriating. She is so rude to Caleb and it’s so ironic that she dislikes him so much as a feminist while a big part of his job is to create safe environments for women. I don’t feel very immersed and into the book
