Clay’s Ark read July 5-7
Engaging compelling and thoroughly disturbing book. The dark nature here is on par with Lilith’s Brood and Fledgling. Once again mankind is forced to reckon with forces within and without that strip away humanity. This time it is a symbiotic infection that causes its host to act compulsively. But the cost for these compulsions is quite steep.

Finished Mind of my Mind
Still pondering my thoughts about this sequel. It’s more enjoyable than Wild Seed, but it still failed to grab my complete attention.

Still pondering how I feel about this. Whilst it is more enjoyable than Wild Seed, it lacked something.

August 1-3 Wild Seed
This is the story of Doro, an amoral immortal being who meets Anyawu in 1690 and the events that transpire. Deals with building of beings with special talents whose purpose is unclear. It is more the strong of a woman fighting for herself and her children. 2.5/5 stars
