The character who said that is Dutch. Only Americans would call their army a “damn fine army”. This quote feels like I got it from a Wattpad fanfic.

So far so good! The only thing I find a bit strange is how often the main character talks about his butt, because most of the time it doesn’t provide any clarity or support the plot. Also, the manner at which it’s described is strangely erotic? Kind of? It’s giving internalized homophobia. I gotta percolate on that thought a little longer.
