after painful deliberation... DNF-ing this for now. The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings are so deeply special to me, and I was hoping the posthumous works would extend that love. The Silmarillion was good, but didn't make my heart sing. Moving on to this.... I fear the tale will remain unfinished.
