Linette wrote: "Oooh this looks interesting - do you recommend?"For sure, enjoyed the author's gothic horror tales and having read most of them that appealed saw he also wrote modern day crime fiction, and having lived in Glasgy plumped for the German based series of his two characters which "almost" fits into my Nordic Noir genre that I follow... certainly has that vibe to it. I was running out of author's in that series so it was an easy fit for me plus he's a great storyteller.
Book 1 was a grand opener to the series as well
Added to big long list - looking forward to the first book. Thanks!
