I fear the magnus chase books were the only solid piece of post hoo writing… in so many ways does this book feel like a step back, I miss Percy and annabeth but they feel like caricatures of themselves here. I feel like if we put this entire series into one book/cut them down to novellas it would make more sense but right now these definitely feel like a drawn out nostalgia bait cash grab
