Man, it sucks to see a hero die, but when they go out in such an awesomely heroic and epic way, you almost don't hate to see it.

Gonna get back to this after a long break to read smthg else.
Really discouraged by how slow I've been reading. I've been obsessing over every word I read, and my overall mindset when I read is foggy and detached. Idk if it's stress or something else, but as much I want to get through all these books, actually sitting down and reading them has become a massive challenge.

That is my biggest pet peeve!! It’s in almost every book! It’s such a cheesy plot device.

Right 😂😂 I mean I could kind of understand it in the context that it was used here, cuz it was a very tense scene, but the phrase doesn't make nearly enough sense for how often it's used 😂
