I'll never understand how someone could not realize they were holding their breath.

Man, it sucks to see a hero die, but when they go out in such an awesomely heroic and epic way, you almost don't hate to see it.

....almost.

Gonna get back to this after a long break to read smthg else.

Really discouraged by how slow I've been reading. I've been obsessing over every word I read, and my overall mindset when I read is foggy and detached. Idk if it's stress or something else, but as much I want to get through all these books, actually sitting down and reading them has become a massive challenge.

Am I okay??? 🗣🔥

David S S. Reads That is my biggest pet peeve!! It’s in almost every book! It’s such a cheesy plot device.

Ethan the Bibliophile Right 😂😂 I mean I could kind of understand it in the context that it was used here, cuz it was a very tense scene, but the phrase doesn't make nearly enough sense for how often it's used 😂

Elisabeth (Bets) Yeah it doesn't make sense 😂 Like, um, if I'm not getting any air I will know 😂
