note that I think I'm reading an older version, but this book is bad, very bad, really awful. The writing is often confusing, generally badly phrased, and Bad. There is no attempt for setting/worldbuilding to properly set things up, rather we just get a couple meaningless details as we go along. There is SOME worldbuilding, mind you, such as a chap2 intro to the various faction like groups.

wasn't expecting a dystopia from my bad angel book but there's groups kids get sorted into, beyond the whole gov conspiracy. also, chap 5 not 1, there's an exact scene from mortal instruments. Like, I really don't like city of bones, but this was the same: girl goes to club w friends, is seperated, follows weirdo, stumbled into back area, witnesses supernatural events. there's three supernat kids, two siblings...
