OMG… AGAIN.

OMG!!!

Yes! I am so glad Astaea and Gunther are working together.

“She marched toward Chayna, fuming, brought back the propulsion of wind, and struck her with it. Chayna tried to crawl out of the way but couldn’t. Astraea glared down at the girl who had willfully tried to take from her. She drowned her in a blast of air—stealing her ability to breathe—and held her there.” I know it’s wrong, but go Astraea! I love the parts in books where heroes become a little unhinged. Shhh!

The stakes are rising!

Oh snap! Chayna deserves to be called out. I am glad Astraea is standing up to her.

I love the world building in this book so much it deserves another mention. Even though the book is for teenagers in my opinion it still has great world building and very realistic at that!

“Signing is part physical and part emotional. You must have control over both parts if you’re going to be successful in controlling your elemental energy.” Yes! I love magic systems that are based in emotions as well as physicality. It makes it so much more interesting and truthfully realistic in my opinion. I also am enjoying how the reader is learning about the magic system, I feel like I am a fellow student

“There was, of course, no denying the fact Gunther was striking in ways other boys were not. He had a magnetic edge that was almost impossible to ignore. But she wasn’t interested—not in the grandson of a man who threatened her father.” I think I detect an enemies to lovers! Or maybe forbidden love?

“School?” Astraea blinked several times. She hadn’t even considered the idea since her arrival, and no one had mentioned it.
“The University of Voncordia,” Pylo said, then his eyes widened. “You must be so excited to start. To make some friends!”“Eh.” Astraea had strongly mixed feelings about it. “Should I be?” Hahaha. That would be my reaction exactly.
