I need my Muslim sisters to please try to stop reading romance books ☹️ don’t forget the hadith of Rasulullah ﷺ that our eyes commit Zina as well… just because it isn’t a movie doesn’t make it okay we need to say this more

hiba ☕︎ the “romance” genre, especially in this hyper-sexualized time, is very filthy and nothing a Muslimah should be engaging in. there’s a book that dives into how the Jews actually introduced inappropriate books into the US as a way of paving the path to creating the p*rn industry as a means of ruining the fabric of society—modesty, our hayaa. It’s called Merchants of Sin, it’s filled with historical recounts of very disgusting people but you’ll start to see why Allah ﷻ said the Jews spread mischief in the land. Don’t feed into it

Delilah 100% agree! Small elements of romance within a larger story is one thing, but "spicy" romance/smut are absolutely wrong for Muslims to read.

Umm Isa I genuinely don't understand what is the appeal of those books in the first place...

That book you mentioned seems interesting! I think I read in Yahya Sinwar's novel that the Jews were also making their agents spread filthy magazines around in Palestine decades ago

ukhti i missed you on here!! really?! subhanAllah that makes so much sense considering they were the pioneers of that filthy industry to begin with. Merchants of Sin was such an interesting and informative book but it was a hard read, very vulgar as the author included real life quotations and descriptions of the kind of things these jews did subhanAllah.

Umm Isa Awhh jazak Allahu khairan🩷 I read some pages and I am... shocked, disgusted and disturbed. It's true most quotations are too vulgar to share, but I'll just drop this one here:

''We come to the nations pretending to escape persecution, we the most deadly persecutors in all the wretched annals of man.''

— Samuel Roth
